We are hiring lead and assisant teachers at Cultured Kids of Madison. We opperate two childcare centers. Cultured Kids of Madison (located near West Towne Mall) and Cultured Kids Vilas (located near campus and the Henry Vilas Zoo). Our West location is full Spanish immersion. Our VIlas location is a bilingual schoool, moving towards Spanish immersion.

Bilingual Spanish Child Care Teacher


* Must be able to read and write in Spanish and English

* Have Patience and Good Emotional Health to care for young children and peers.

* Must be able to lift at least 35bs.

* Have great Customer Service Skills and Work Well with Co-Workers

* Complete – Intro. to the Early Childhood Profession class or a Credential equivalent class (within 3 months of hire date).

* If working w/ Under 2yrs-Complete - Infant & Toddler Care class or its ECE equivalent (within 6 months of hire date).

* Obtain certificate from The Registry, (within 2 months of hire date)


* Nurture a happy, safe, and musical classroom environment for the kids in Spanish.

* Most important, ensure that all licensing requirements are being met at all times.

◦ Memorize child/teacher ratios, proper sign-in of children on Daily Attendance Form, and…

◦ Hygiene and safety regarding toys, diaper changing stations, and food handling.

* Assist & manage all activities, lessons, diapering, cleaning, disinfecting, & gentle discipline in SPANISH.

* Communicate with parents daily using provided IPAD for daily sheets emailed to them.

· Be Effective (keep examples of classroom progress & education when preparing to ask for a raise)

· Be Flexible (with duties and scheduling, as the needs of our classrooms families and staff change.)

· Be Peaceful (all children & adults experience life in different ways & need patience and understanding.)


Must be available during center hours, M-F, 8:00am-6:00pm, 9-6pm, or 2:45-6:15pm with break 30min-2hours dep. on schedule

Half-day schedule possibility as a Job Share (AM, PM, or combination);

Pay Rate $10.00 - $14/hr determined by experience, skill set, then education.
