Customer Support Engineer

Customer Support Engineer
Location: Madison, Wisconsin, USA
$22 per hour, full time
Scooter Software has great customers all over the world. Now we need to expand our staff that takes care of them.
Provide first level technical support
Test new features and software releases
Communicate bug reports and feature requests to developers
Answer sales and licensing policy inquiries
Process purchase orders and respond to resale inquiries
Manage and document special orders and company giveaways
Self-driven with strong written and verbal communication skills
Friendly, positive attitude
Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical customers
Strong problem solving ability with attention to detail
Responsible, self-dependent and ethical
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
Basic computer networking
Version control systems
Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language
